Rep. Clyburn on the Ed Show: Subterfuge on Social Security Disability Insurance is Like Tactics Used on the Post Office
Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) appeared on the Ed Show on Jan. 13, where he said opponents of Social Security are using tactics similar to those used to used to undermine the Postal Service. “Yes it’s going broke because we are not allowing them to pay their pensions like every other entity,” he said, referring to the mandate that the Postal Service pay pensions 75 years into the future.
