Of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
(Updated Aug. 14, 2007) This series of Questions and Answers [PDF], dated June 2007, lists agreements between the union and management at the national level concerning the application and interpretation of Article 37 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, which governs the Clerk Craft.
The questions and answers were developed jointly based on Article 37, national-level arbitration awards, Memorandums of Understanding, and Step 4 settlements. The APWU and USPS are bound by the terms of this document at the local level.
The Article 37 Q & A is updated periodically to reflect new agreements and changes in the contract. This version — the fourth for the Clerk Craft — will be updated as needed.
