Buy Union!

America@Work ‘08
Union Industries Show
May 16-18, Detroit, MI [AFL-CIO flyer–PDF]

The APWU urges all postal workers to purchase union-made products and services whenever possible.

Here are three useful Web sites that can help you buy what you need and have a powerful impact on jobs and the economy:

www.shopunionmade.org offers a wide array of goods and services, from books and music to gifts and housewares, 24 hours a day.  To save you money, the Web site it offers Union Plus discounts exclusively to union members and their families.

www.unionlabel.org helps you determine which products and services support union labor — and those that do not. Union Label.org recently launched a new service that helps you locate union airlines, hotels, restaurants and car rental companies that employ union labor.
