APWU Installation of Officers


The APWU Installation of Officers Dinner-Dance will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 , at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Road, NW, Washington, DC 20008.

A one-hour reception begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Marriott Foyer; with dinner and the installation of officers to follow. Tickets are $60 per person and must be purchased no later than Oct. 29, 2004. Requests for reserved seating can be honored only by reserving a complete table of 10 (at $600). Reserved tables must be purchased by Oct. 25, 2004.

Ticket requests are to be accompanied by full payment and should be sent to Secretary-Treasurer’s office, to the attention of Judy Beard, American Postal Workers Union, 1300 L Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005.

The APWU has reserved a block of rooms at the hotel for the period Nov. 11-16, 2004 , at the negotiated rate of $179, per night, plus 14.5 percent tax per night for single/double occupancy. Room reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 202-328-2000. Make your reservation on or before Oct. 23, 2004 .

A limited number of rooms are available on a first-come basis for early arrivals and the post-installation of officers.

A Secretary-Treasurer Training Seminar begins at 2 p.m. , Sunday, Nov. 14, and ends at 5 p.m. , Tuesday, Nov. 16. The Seminar will be held at the same hotel, the Marriott Wardman Park .
