At a panel discussion sponsored by the National Press Club on May 13, APWU President Mark Dimondstein championed voting by mail, which would give more Americans access to the ballot box.

Sanders Endorsement Garners Many Headlines

11/13/2015 - The APWU Executive Board’s endorsement of Bernie Sanders for President generated extensive media coverage on Nov. 12.

Virtually every major news outlet reported the endorsement, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, MSNBC, the Associated Press, Al Jazeera America, New York Times, Washington Post, The NationHuffington Post, and The Hill, along with hundreds of local radio, television and newspapers.

Dimondstein to Appear on Podcast, TV

07/02/2015 - APWU President Mark Dimondstein has a pair of media appearances scheduled for Thursday, July 2.

First, he will call-in to “The Ed Schultz Show,” podcast at 12:10 p.m., which is syndicated across the country. You can listen to the show below. Coverage of Postal Service issues begins at the 18:48 mark and Dimondstein appears at 20:48.

Dimondstein will also appear on Thom Hartmann’s The Big Picture, at approximately 7:30 p.m. The live show airs nationwide on the RT America network, and on the FSTV Network.

Danny Glover, Dimondstein to Appear on The Ed Show This Evening

02/18/2015 - Actor-activist Danny Glover will appear on The Ed Show this evening, Feb. 18, along with APWU President Mark Dimondstein. They will discuss A Grand Alliance to Save Our Public Postal Service. The Ed Show airs on MSNBC at 5 p.m. Glover championed the need for a vibrant Postal Service in a two-minute video posted last week and asked the public to join him in A Grand Alliance to save it.
