Solidarity With Santa Barbara
Burrus Update #05-06, Feb. 3, 2006
To convey the solidarity of APWU members throughout the country, I met with workers at the Santa Barbara P&DC Feb. 2 and 3, accompanied by APWU Western Regional Coordinator Omar Gonzalez.
Throughout my visit, I was impressed by the sensitivity displayed by the Postal Service in working to meet the emotional needs of the employees.
APWU Executive Vice President Cliff Guffey will attend the funerals scheduled in the days ahead.
