Plan Your Stay Well Ahead

Even though the convention may be months away, it is essential for all locals, state organizations, members-at-large, and retirees make their arrangements as soon as possible.

Room Rates

The APWU has negotiated special room rates at Bally’s, Paris and a third hotel, the Flamingo Las Vegas, which is one block away. The rates listed below, plus tax, are per night, single or double occupancy:

Flamingo ($89)

Reservations

Please make your room reservations by July 11. After that date, rooms and rates will be based on availability. Follow one of the links above to book your hotel online. You must use a credit card when booking online; you will receive confirmation of your registration via e-mail.

Reservations also will be accepted at all three hotels by phone at 888-266-5687 from 6 a.m. to midnight, Pacific Time. When making your reservation, be sure to mention that you are with the American Postal Workers Union and provide a Group Code (Paris - SPAPW8; Bally’s - SBAPW8, Flamingo - SFAPU8). (Reservations for groups of 20 or more will be accepted only online.)

Deposits and Cancellations

A one-night’s-stay deposit, plus tax, is required for each room. If you pay the deposit by check, the hotel must receive the payment within 14 days of the reservation. Failure to notify the hotel of a change in arrival date will result in cancellation of a reservation and the deposit will be forfeited. Unless a later arrival time is indicated, reservations are held only until 3 a.m.

Early departures are subject to a $50 penalty, set by the hotels. If you do not cancel (at least 72 hours ahead) or do not arrive on your confirmed arrival date, your full reservation will be cancelled. (Please note that APWU locals and state organizations paying by check must pay the hotel for the entire stay 30 days prior to arrival.)
