Locals Urged to File OSHA Complaints on DBCSs

The APWU is urging locals to file
OSHA complaints over identified ergonomic hazards on Delivery Bar Code
Sorter machines. In a letter to local presidents, Industrial Relations
Director Greg Bell asked locals with DBCS machines to file OSHA complaints
by April 10. The APWU has made many attempts to discuss and correct
the known ergonomic problems, Bell said, but has had little success in
getting the Postal Service to address the issues.
