The APWU was sorry to learn that National Business Agent Shirley McLennan passed away on Dec. 24 after a long battle with cancer.

A member of the Louisville Area Local for nearly 30 years, McLennan, 66, was elected as a Clerk NBA for the Cincinnati Region in 2001, and was re-elected in 2004 and 2007. She had been vice president of the APWU local and had served as a National Advocate and as Clerk Craft Director for the Kentucky Postal Workers Union.
