APWU Donates $25,000 to Hurricane Relief

07/21/2017 - On July 19, the House Budget Committee advanced its Fiscal Year 2018 budget resolution. As anticipated, the 2018 House Budget is in the same mold as the White House budget – it punishes workers and the working-class, while giving big payouts to the rich.
08/31/2012 - Delegates to the APWU National Convention condemned USPS management for their failure to adhere to the terms of the 2010 Collective Bargaining Agreement and for their dismal response to the agency’s congressionally-manufactured financial crisis.
ALSO: At pre-convention meetings, Guffey reported that the union has engaged in informal discussions with management on incentives to encourage employees to retire or resign. To date, the USPS has made no official offers to the APWU, but discussions are continuing, he said.
