On a one-time, non-precedent-setting basis, the parties mutually agree that the following four
Mailing Requirements Clerk (MRC) duty assignments will be upgraded from Grade 6 (P9-06,
Occupation Code: 2345-0030} to Grade 7 (P9-07, Occupation Code: 2345-32XX):

The parties agree that this upgrade will be accomplished without reposting the above-listed
Grade 6 duty assignments and that the current incumbents will be awarded and placed into
Grade 7 duty assignments without having to bid for them in accordance with Article 37 of the
National Agreement.
The parties agree that the current incumbents will be placed into the Grade 7 duty assignments
as soon as administratively practicable, but no later than June 5.
The parties agree that following the placement of the current incumbents into the Grade 7 duty
assignments, the Grade 6 position (P9-06, Occupation Code: 2345-0030) will be considered
obsolete; however, the Postal Service reserves the right to reestablish the Grade 6 position at
any point it deems necessary.
This agreement is made without prejudice to the parties' positions in this or any other matter
and may only be cited to enforce its terms.
