We kick off our 2023 schedule with our Legislative Conference in Washington, DC from Saturday April 1st thru Monday April 3rd, earmarking Tuesday April 4th as the day we visit our respective congressmen on the hill. You’ll need to schedule congressional meetings in advance. Saturday April 1st is our day of training and most of it will be dedicated to legislative and political updates from APWU National Officers.

Every State and Local President is welcome at the Conference and is encouraged to participate. The NPC formally convenes three (3) times a year, rotating around the Country. All presidents, attending this conference or not, are asked to register as a member on the apwunpc.com website to access NPC updates and more. In doing so we’ll have the means to contact you quickly in case plans change and for other timely notifications.

The Conference registration fee is $100.00 per attendee (Delegates, Alternate Delegates, Observers, and Guests); however, registrations made after Thursday, March 30th are subject to the late registration rate of $125.00. Though National Officers cannot be a Delegate or Alternate Delegate, they may attend as a Guest or Observer.. Participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. See the back page of this flyer or visit apwunpc.com.

State and Local Presidents (or their designees) are encouraged to submit agenda items for discussion and debate during the Conference on Sunday and Monday. Agenda items are categorized by Constitutional issues; Internal APWU issues; (legislative, national political) Collective Bargaining issues; National Negotiation issues and others. The best way to submit agenda items is by email to the Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson at the addresses listed below. Please note: In order to secure your agenda item being sequenced and pre-printed in the conference handout it must be received no later than 5:00 PM (ET) Friday, March 24th. You should also prepare to bring sufficient copies of handouts for items not timely submitted.

Following our Legislative Conference, rotation has us West in Park City, Utah June 24-26, 2023, then meeting in conjunction with the APWU All-Craft Conference at Bally’s Las Vegas in October.
