The Minnesota State Convention will be held at Madden’s as previously planned, beginning with a training and committee meetings at 1:30 Sunday October 4. Convention will be called to order on Monday October 5 at 9 AM. We will resume the business of the Convention at 9 AM Tuesday, October 6, and remain in session until the business before us is completed.

Room rates as follows: Single occupancy: $181.00 per night plus applicable taxes and fees; Double occupancy: $129.50 plus applicable taxes and fees.

Reservations must be made with the resort not later than August 4^th. Credentials can also be updated until September 1^st.

As in the past, we will have hospitality Sunday and Monday nights with bonfires. One can imagine things might look a bit different this year regarding seating and such assuming social distancing is still in place, but we’ll deal with whatever we need to. I am told they are providing hand sanitizer and have increased sanitation efforts in all areas of the resort. I’m also thinking about having the resort cater pizza and nibbles to the hospitality room to reduce risk from hands digging in bags and bowls. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated.
