APWU Receives Recognition from Minority House Leader Nancy Pelosi and Congresswoman Judy Chu

On June 11, California Postal Workers Union President Mike Evans attended a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) event with Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA) and special guest Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Minority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives for the 114th Congress

On behalf of the American Postal Workers Union, President Evans accepted a Certificate of Appreciation recognizing the APWU’s outstanding legislative efforts from Representative Chu. During the event, Congresswoman Pelosi also addressed key postal legislative issues with President Evans, including amendments APWU raised on H.R. 756. Congresswoman Chu represents California's 27th Congressional District and serves on the powerful House Ways & Means Committee.
