APWU members who plan to attend the 2007 All-Craft Conference can now register online, select workshops, and remit payment to the national union through www.apwu.org. Online registration will also be available for future events sponsored by the national union.

The 2007 All-Craft Conference will be held Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas. The event will feature a comprehensive series of educational workshops and general business sessions in which important craft issues and resolutions will be discussed and voted on. Craft-specific workshops will be offered for members of the Clerk, Maintenance, Motor Vehicle Services, and Support Services Crafts, as well as training sessions of general interest.

APWU members also can register online to attend the installation of newly elected national union officers on Nov. 8. The Installation of Officers Dinner Dance will be held in Las Vegas, on the final evening of the All-Craft Conference.

In just a few easy steps, the new online registration feature will allow the presidents and secretary-treasurers of locals and state organizations to register their members for nationally-sponsored events.

Online payments can be made by credit card, and the union is working to make it possible to pay via electronic transfer from a checking account. Those who wish to register off-line will continue to have the option of mailing a registration form and payment to union headquarters.

Online registration is the newest feature of the Web site’s “Members Only” section. In June, the union made its national membership database available online to allow members to review their membership records, update their contact information, and find out how to get in touch with their union representatives. Union officers can also use the “My Local and Personal Info” section to retrieve their most current membership records, as well as dues information, records of COPA contributions, and non-member reports.
