The Industrial Relations Department will be hosting two upcoming webinars on March 18th on APWU SEARCH and March 26th on the Electronic Grievance System. All members are encouraged to attend, especially arbitration advocates, stewards, and local/state officers.

The Basics of APWU SEARCH

APWU SEARCH (LexisNexis) is the national and regional arbitration database.  The webinar training will be held on March 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm EDT. Arbitration advocates can use the cases found in the database to bolster their arbitration cases.  Stewards and officers can use the knowledge they learn from reading arbitrations to develop even better grievances at step-1 and step-2. The webinar will cover how to get access, logging in, setting up your browser, doing basic and more advanced searches. Participants will need access to a computer to have the best learning experience.
