Dimondstein to Ed:
The People Can Stop USPS Plans to Delay Mail
Nov. 14 Will Expose Postmaster General's Program
11/12/2014 - Appearing on the Ed Show on Nov. 11, APWU President Mark Dimondstein said "the people of this country have it within our power" to stop USPS plans to slow mail service and virtually eliminate overnight mail delivery. Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe's plans are now "under the radar," but more than 140 protests set for Friday, Nov. 14, will help change that. The USPS Board of Governors – which has the power to put on a hold on the plans – will be meeting that day.
