The 2017 All Craft Conference will be held Oct. 2-4, 2017 at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel. Here is a link to the schedule.

Registration Fees and Information

  • Click here for registration for the All Craft Conference. The cost is $85 for early (by Monday, Aug. 21 at 5:00 pm EST) and $135 for late.
  • Click here for registration for the Retirees Conference.  The cost is $40 for early (by Monday, Aug. 21 at 5:00 pm EST) and $45 for late.
  • Click here for registration for the Legislative Conference and Training.  The cost is $45 for Track 1 and $55 for Track 2.  Both tracks include admission to the Legislative Conference General Session and the Regional Breakouts.  A schedule of events, including the workshops offered for each track, can be found here.
  • Click here for registration for the Secretary Treasurer’s Officer’s Fiduciary Responsibility Training.  The cost is $135 for registration. The cutoff date for registration is Friday, September 8, 2017. After this time, only on-site registrations will be accepted, based on space availability in the workshop.
  • Click here for registration for the Secretary Treasurer’s Beginners QuickBooks Training. The cost is $185 for registration. The cutoff date for registration is Friday, September 8, 2017. Please note that registration may close sooner if the class is filled.  Onsite registrations will not be accepted for this class. If the class is full and you’d like to be added to the waiting list, please send an e-mail to Hannah Lively, Executive Assistant to the Secretary-Treasurer at hlively@apwu.org with the following information: Name, Local, Phone Number, and which classes’ wait list you would like to be added to: QuickBooks Beginners or QuickBooks Advanced. As space becomes available, individuals will be notified in the order their request was received.

Additional Details

  • The group rate of $99/night, plus daily $25 resort fee (single/double occupancy – additional persons $30/per night/per room) is now available only for the nights of 9/27 and 9/30.  For the nights of 10/1 through 10/5, the group block is sold out, however, a few rooms are still available.  Rooms over these nights are at a rate of $115/night, plus daily $25 resort fee. The daily resort fee includes unlimited local phone calls, two guest admissions per day to the fitness center, and in room internet for up to two devices.

    • Call 800-358-8777 and use group code SBAPW7.  Please note that reservations made via the call center will be assessed a fee of $15 plus current sales tax, per reservation.  This fee does not apply to reservations made via the internet.  All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit for the first night’s guestroom and tax charge. 
    • The hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Diners Club.  If paying by check, it must be received at least thirty days prior to the first arrival date. 
    • Check in time is 4 pm and check out time is 11 am.  Any departures after 11 am are subject to the full day charge. 
    • Each guestroom must have at least one registered guest 21 years of age or older.
  • Cancellation: without penalty up to seventy-two hours prior to the attendees’ scheduled arrival date.

Resolutions adopted by locals and/or state organizations will be considered by delegates to the All-Craft Conference, which will be held in Las Vegas, NV, October 2-4, 2017.

Resolutions from local or state affiliates must be submitted online no later than Saturday, September 2, 2017 using the template below. This form is accessible only to presidents, secretaries, and secretary-treasurers. 

In accordance with the APWU Constitution and Bylaws [PDF], resolutions must be received by Saturday, September 2, 2017, to be considered at the conference. There will be no exceptions. Resolutions are accepted from local or state affiliates, or from Members-at-Large (MALs).

Resolutions from local or state affiliates must be submitted online by a form that is accessible to presidents, secretaries, and secretary-treasurers.

MALs are the only individuals who may submit resolutions under their own signatures. Resolutions from MALs must be sent directly to Secretary-Treasurer Elizabeth “Liz” Powell. They must be typed, double-spaced and submitted individually (one resolution per page) to 1300 L Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005.
