The APWU will hold multiple events in Las Vegas, NV starting Friday, October 25 through Thursday, October 31, 2019, including the All Craft Conference. Below is additional information regarding the hotel, a schedule of ACC events, other events scheduletransportation and links to register for each event. All events will be held at Bally’s Las Vegas, unless stated otherwise. The registration fee is currently $85. A late registration fee of $135 will be incurred after 5:00 pm EST on Monday, September 16, 2019.

In accordance with the APWU Constitution and Bylaws [PDF], resolutions must be received by Thursday, September 26, 2019, to be considered at the conference. There will be no exceptions. Resolutions are accepted from local or state affiliates, or from Members-at-Large (MALs).

Resolutions from local or state affiliates must be submitted online by a form that is accessible to presidents, secretaries, and secretary-treasurers.

MALs are the only individuals who may submit resolutions under their own signatures. Resolutions from MALs must be sent directly to Secretary-Treasurer Elizabeth “Liz” Powell. Secretary-Treasurer’s Training

Friday, October 25 – Sunday, October 27 - 

If you would like to register for the Officer’s Fiduciary Responsibilities Training, you may do so onsite on Thursday, October 24, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm or on Friday, October 25 from 7:30 am – 9:00 am.  Registration will take place in Skyview 5.

Both the QuickBooks Beginners and the QuickBooks Advanced classes are full and onsite registration will not be accepted.

Classes include: Officer’s Fiduciary Responsibilities Training, QuickBooks Beginners and QuickBooks Advanced

Young Members' Meeting

All members, especially those 35 and younger are encouraged to attend this meeting to discuss the labor movement and ways to get young workers involved in the union.
Cost: No cost to members
 

Legislative & Political Conference

Sunday, October 27

All members are invited to attend this conference which will pursue a strategy of advancing our core legislative issues, among other topics. To review the conference schedule, click here.

All Craft Conference

Sunday, October 27 – Wednesday, October 30 

Workshops and general sessions will be provided by the Clerk, Maintenance, Motor Vehicle Services and Support Services Divisions. The Retirees Department will provide retirement workshops for active members on Sunday, October 27.
Cost: $85 early/$135 late (after 5:00 PM EST on Monday, Sept. 16)
 

Retirees Conference

Monday, October 28 – Wednesday, October 30-

The Retirees Department will provide various workshops and two days of general session for retired members. To review the conference schedule, click here.

BMC Conference

Thursday, October 31, 2019 

The 21 Bulk Mail Centers (BMCs) will meet at a group to discuss issues that affect their common interest.
Cost: No cost to members
 

Annual MVS Dinner 

Monday, October 28, 2019 
Join the MVS Craft Division for a night of drinks, dinner and live entertainment.
Cost: $60.00, 6 PM - 7 PM Cocktail Hour; 7:00 PM Buffet Dinner

If you would like to purchase tickets for the Installation of Officers, you may do so onsite during registration hours.  Tickets may be purchased in the Grand Salon.  Please note that tickets are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Installation of Officers

APWU members and guests are invited to attend this ceremonial affair which will feature the swearing-in or new and returning officers.
Cost: $85 ticket
