During the week of Nov. 27 - Dec. 4, 2017 your Maintenance Craft headquarters ofﬁcers traveled to Norman, OK for meetings with the Postal Service and students attending training at the National Center for Employee Development (NCED).
07/29/2016 - APWU Clerk Craft officers and the Postal Service signed three documents on July 29: They agreed to a new set of Questions & Answers on the POStPlan, Filling Residual Vacancies, and Travel; signed a Step 4 Settlement on Postal Support Employees (PSEs) staffing Level 4 RMPOs (Remotely Managed Post Offices) working outside their installation, and signed an addendum Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Peak Season Exception Periods and the use of annuitants.
03/19/2013 - The APWU and USPS agreed on March 13, 2013, that Part-Time Flexible (PTF) Hub Clerks who volunteer to work in offices other that their home office are entitled to travel pay and/or mileage expenses. The agreement is in accordance with Section 438.133 of the Employee and Labor Relations Manual (ELM) and Chapter 7.d of F-15 Handbook, Travel and Relocation.
10/01/2012 - Maintenance Craft officers have settled a grievance over a USPS policy involving employees who are delayed while en route to training at the NCED, Maintenance Division Director Steve Raymer has announced.
09/23/2012 - The dispute in Case #Q00C-4Q-C 04025449 arose due to a disagreement on how to handle travel pay when an unexpected delay requires an overnight stay at a hotel. This typically occurs when employees are selected for training at NCED in Norman OK.
09/20/2012 - The APWU and USPS settled a dispute on computer software installation on Sept. 13, 2012, agreeing that on-site computer software installation for postal equipment will be performed by Level 10 and Level 11 Electronic Technicians, Maintenance Craft Director Steve Raymer has announced.
