This Step 4 Settlement Agreement involved whether a position was posted correctly and whether employees were improperly required to furnish their own typewriter for testing purposes. After reviewing this matter, the parties mutually agreed that in the clerk craft, positions are to be posted as set forth in Article 37.3.A. They also agreed that the provisions of Handbook P-11, Section 452.32 applied with regard to furnishing equipment for testing purposes. The questions raised in this case required application of the above, not an interpretation. Accordingly, the parties agreed to remand this case to Step 3 for further processing.
