The question in this grievance involved the scheduling of PTF clerks in the local office for 7 hours and 55 minutes.  The union contends that the local practice of requiring PTF clerks to clock out after 7 hours and 55 minutes of work violates Article 7, Section 3.C, of the National Agreement.  It is the position of the Postal Service that PTF employees may be scheduled for less than 8 hours of work per service day, in increments of less than 1 hour, provided the provisions of Article 8, Section 8, are followed.  Disputes which arise under Article 7, Section 3.C, would be handled on a case-by-case basis, dependent on the specific fact circumstance involved in each case.  Accordingly, this grievance is denied.
