MVS Craft Forms Jobs Committee

The Motor Vehicle Service Craft has established a committee to help develop strategies to fight the outsourcing of MVS jobs and to help locals enforce the MVS Jobs Memorandum of Understanding, MVS Craft Director Mike Foster has announced.

“The committee is comprised of local leaders with the skills and dedication to make a monumental contribution to our struggle,” he said.

The Jobs Memo, which is part of the 2010-2015 Collective Bargaining Agreement, “creates the opportunity to capture work” in Postal Vehicle Service and Vehicle Maintenance Facility operations, Foster said. Members of the committee will participate in site visits designed to analyze operations and protect MVS jobs.

Members of the committee were appointed by President Cliff Guffey, based on Foster’s recommendations. They are:
